THE FIRST Hi-TECH CUSTOM STRIDER BIKE BUILT IN H.S.
This killer custom bike is built at the Pine Bush High School Gene Haas Innovation Center located in Pine Bush, NY.
Principal Aaron Hopmayer developed the Gene Haas Innovation Center to build skills and earn credentials for the students that qualify them for immediate employment or to go on to post-secondary education.
Instructor Kenny Marshall and his students have put in well over 150 hours from the design through fabrication process. Using the equipment in the Gene Haas Innovation Center, students fabricated the tiny custom with the following range of tools:
- Haas Mills
- Waterjet
- 3D printers
- Laser cutter
- Wood CNC
Hoosier Racing Tires: You certainly notice the Hoosier tires on the custom tiny bike. They look so new, you can almost smell them! These tires are a well-known brand that specializes in manufacturing high-performance racing tires. Founded in 1957, Hoosier has built a reputation for producing tires that deliver excellent performance and traction on the race track.
