This year, we’re showcasing a special piece of custom craftsmanship: a Strider Balance Bike built by Devin Henriques of Cognito Moto. Mark your calendars! On Monday, March 3, 2025, the Flying Piston Benefit takes over Teddy Morse’s Daytona Harley-Davidson® , bringing together top builders, industry legends, and custom bike enthusiasts—all for a great cause.

Originally built for the 2019 Sturgis Flying Piston Builder’s Breakfast, this one-of-a-kind Strider comes straight from the private collection of Ryan McFarland, the founder and CEO of Strider Bikes. Designed in Devin’s signature café racer style, this tiny two-wheeler is a head-turner. Featuring a custom-machined tank and seat, inverted front forks, and solid alloy components, it’s more of a showstopper than a daily rider—but it’s all about making an impact.

Cognito Moto’s Devin Hentiques Builds Flying Piston Strider

Devin, who founded Cognito Moto in 2012, has built a reputation for high-end motorcycle components and custom builds. His passion for two wheels led him to support Motorcycle Missions, a non-profit helping veterans and first responders through motorcycle therapy. Through this connection, he joined the Flying Piston Benefit to bring his craftsmanship to the world of Strider customs.

Now, this one-of-a-kind mini café racer is hitting the auction block once again—giving you a chance to own a piece of custom history while supporting AllKidsBike.org.
