MEET DARREN McKEAG @ 2022 FLYING PISTON BENEFIT

Hello, My name is Darren McKeag

I was born and raised in Iowa, served six years in the US Army and currently share an art gallery and studio with my wife Missy.

I’ve been creating art my entire life and most of my art has been about HotRods motorbikes and the lifestyle of having them. I have been creating tattoo art for the past 32 years and creating motorbike art for the past 22 years…

My motorbike art includes pinstriping and illustrative painting on helmets and bike parts… I also paint large-scale acrylic on canvas art, depicting motorbike experiences…

About Sturgis – The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is the largest motorcycle rally in the world. It is held annually in The Black Hills and in Sturgis, South Dakota for 10 days during the first week of August. It was started by local Indian dealer Pappy Hoel in 1938. Since its beginning, private area businesses throwing events such as races, concerts, and rides have made, and continue to make, the Sturgis Rally what it is today. 2021 will mark the 81st annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
