About Kiwi Mike: He began his journey with Indian Motorcycles in his native New Zealand, where he honed his skills by repairing and fabricating parts for farm equipment. At just 17 years old, Mike got his hands on his first Indian motorcycle—a moment that sparked his deep passion for the brand. His fascination began when a rider passed him on a 1941 Indian, and Mike, captivated by its elegant lines, chased down the rider to learn more about the machine that would soon become his lifelong pursuit.

The Decade of the 80s: In the early 1980s, driven by a dream to immerse himself in the heart of American motorcycle culture, Kiwi Mike moved to the U.S. to pursue his passion. By the 1990s, he had already become a pioneer in the industry, debuting the first illustrated catalog for Indian Motorcycle parts at the Davenport Swap in Iowa. Over time, Kiwi Indian Motorcycles would expand to offer over 1,500 different part numbers and custom-built replica Indian engines made entirely with Kiwi’s own parts.

About Kiwi Motorcycles and Handcrafted Excellence: Every Kiwi motorcycle is a labor of love, meticulously handcrafted in Riverside, CA. Proudly made in America, each bike is built using only the finest American-made raw materials. From the engines to the smallest components, no detail is overlooked. Every part—whether it’s crankcases, connecting rods, valves, cams, or heads—has been re-engineered for ultimate performance, durability, and quality control.
