Brian Fuller Builds a Custom Strider for the Flying Piston Breakfast Benefit in 2018 for the All Kids Bike Charity

This tiny Strider bike, customized by Bryan Fuller of Fuller Moto in Atlanta, is unique among its peers, which include 7 Striders customized for the Flying Piston Buiilders Breakfast during the 2018 Sturgis Rally.* First, the tiny bike’s wheel configuration is distinctive: large in back, and small in front – and that’s not by happenstance. See, Bryan’s Strider was inspired by the aggressive stance and killer rake of vintage hot rods and dragsters.

Another aspect that makes this Strider a standout? Bryan worked on the bike with his eight-year-old son, Cannon. (That’s Cannon with the badass gearhead snarl in the photos.) What a fabulous opportunity for a father/son project!

Taking the hot rod connections even further, Bryan said they emulated the classic hot rod paint job: black with flames. “What’s more Hot Rod than that?” he asked. Well, “Nothing!” we said.

But no one should be surprised at Bryan’s take on the subject. He realized his passion for cars as an eighth grader while helping his dad rebuild a 1965 Ford Mustang, then built two cars of his own in high school. After losing his father quite young, Bryan determined to make his passion his career – and has since imbued his own son in the gearhead world.

A master builder, designer, TV personality and author, Bryan worked with Chip Foose, hosted “Two Guys Garage” and appeared on “Biker Build-off” and Cafe Racer TV.

He‘s currently the host of “Caffeine and Octane”, in its second season on NBC Sports Network, and has co-authored a series of how-to-build books published by his company, Full-Bore Publishing. With his writing partner, Mark Prosser, Bryan teaches via video and workshops throughout the country.

The Fuller Moto team specializes in unique custom car and motorcycle builds. The shop motto is “Dream Big, Build Strong, Ride Hard!” and that fits well with the goals of the Flying Piston Breakfast. Proceeds from the event provide technical education scholarships and support Motorcycle Missions, a non-profit that encourages veterans dealing with PTSD to learn skills and pursue careers in motorcycling.
